Machiya no Odoriba is a 150-year-old samurai residence that was purchased in 1897 by Juntaro Shoda, the half-brother of Kanazawa's proud literary giant "Tokuda Akisho," who also renovated the town house and operates it as a hotel. The warehouse cafe attached to the hotel offers special sweets and water-drawn coffee brewed over a period of 10 hours.

Higashi Chayamachi Area] "An-ya musubu," a Japanese-style cafe by Murakami, a long-established Japanese sweets shop in Kanazawa.
