Did you know that there is an observation facility in Chiba Prefecture with free admission that is about a 3-minute walk from the station?
The i-Link Town Observation Facility is a 3-minute walk from the South Exit of JR Ichikawa Station and is located 150 meters above ground on the 45th floor. The elevator to the observation deck is located on the third floor, and the glass-walled see-through elevator gives visitors the feeling of ascending to the heavens.

The best view in the metropolitan area!

The view from the elevator is outstanding, with almost no obstructions around the building, allowing you to see not only central Tokyo and Chiba, but also Minatomirai and Saitama, and even Mt.
Fuji and Mt. Asama on a clear day. On the rooftop observation deck, you can enjoy the view while feeling the breeze of the Edogawa River flowing nearby. At night in summer, the cool night breeze is pleasant.

The best time to visit is in the evening.

While it is recommended to view the expansive view under the blue sky during the daytime, it is especially recommended after the evening. Depending on the season, you can capture Tokyo's skyscrapers, Mt. Fuji, and the setting sun in a single photo.

After sunset, the skyscrapers begin to glow, and the beautiful night view spreads out before your eyes as if jewels are scattered all over the city.
On the third Friday and the following Saturday of each month, a "light-down event" is held to dim the lights in the facility so that visitors can enjoy the evening and night views more beautifully. The event is held between sunset and 9:00 p.m. on each day, and photography with a tripod is allowed only during the event period. For details, please visit the official Ichikawa City website.
*Tripods are not allowed during regular business hours.
We recommend that you make a reservation with the "JR East View Dynamic Rail Package" for your stay near the i-Link Town Observation Facilities!
