It's like a "theater"!

I recently visited the Ishikawa Prefectural Library, which opened on July 16!
The beauty of the building and the power of the interior made it "look like something out of a movie! and "It looks like something you would see in a movie!
When I stepped into the library, I found that the ...... circular structure and the feeling of being surrounded by books from above and to the side was like being in the middle of a theater! When you look up, the ceiling is cool, too, with the great power of a theater.

The circular area is divided into four large sections, east, west, south, and north. These colors are "Kaga Gosai," well-known for Kutani ware. Even in the details, one can feel the tradition of Ishikawa. Thanks to this color division by area, I was able to find books smoothly when looking for them.

Go around and discover all kinds of things!

The circular bookcases were divided by themes such as "Embracing Curiosity. This is fun just to go around in a circle, even if you don't have the book you are looking for! You are sure to encounter something fresh that you would not normally pick up.

On the first floor of the reading area, "Blessings of Satoyama, Scent of Culture - Ishikawa Collection" introduced the charms of Ishikawa through books and media related to "traditional culture" and "satoyama-sankai. This is another new discovery.

Find your favorite place and chair and enter the world of books!

Another unique feature of the museum is that there are chairs of various shapes everywhere in the building. The number of chairs is said to be about 500! They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and are placed in a variety of locations. You can find your favorite chair according to your mood and spend a relaxing time.
