Speaking of Fukui Prefecture! Delicious seafood! Of course, it's a dream come true to eat all-you-can-eat sashimi. I heard a rumor that there is a dreamy restaurant where you can eat all-you-can-eat sashimi, and I actually went there. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the "Echizen Crab Museum" across from "Michi no Eki Echizen" (Roadside Station Echizen).

The buffet is priced at 5,500 yen for 60 minutes for adults. The fee is to be paid in advance. After paying, you will be shown to your table and given a plate with the end time. The main attraction of this buffet is....

You can enjoy all-you-can-eat sashimi! The beautifully arranged sashimi are all thick and look delicious! The type of fish was not written on the menu, but there were salmon, amberjack (yellowtail? Yellowtail, squid, snapper, amaebi, etc.) There are several kinds of fish on the menu, including salmon, yellowtail, squid, sea bream, and shrimp.

In addition to sashimi, there are a variety of seafood dishes such as bai clam stewed in soy sauce, cream croquettes, and scallops grilled on the beach. The miso soup is also crab soup, allowing you to enjoy seafood to the fullest.

First of all, here is how it is arranged. The amaebi (sweet shrimp) with a lot of eggs on it is also a point of interest. Anyway, the sashimi is so delicious that I can't stop eating! I can't believe that such delicious sashimi is all-you-can-eat.

Since we only had 60 minutes, we kept eating more and more. This is what a refill looks like. I put negitoro on top of rice. I wanted to try a variety of other side dishes, but I decided to focus on the sashimi.

I was full after eating two bowls of rice, but since it was all-you-can-eat, I challenged myself to go beyond the limit. All of the sashimi was really delicious and fatty. If it was this fatty when I visited in the summer, I wondered how good the sashimi would be in the winter. I thought to myself, "If it is so fatty in summer, I wonder how good sashimi will be in winter. Next time, I would like to repeat the visit in winter, when the fish is at its best. The restaurant is located on a seaside road called Fisherman's Fire Road, so it was easy to stop by during a drive!

Can we make reservations in advance?

I asked the restaurant about advance reservations and was told that they do not take reservations in advance. It seems that the customers who come to the restaurant are taken in order. The Hokuriku editorial staff visited the restaurant around 12:00 on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Even at noon on the first day of a three-day weekend, there was plenty of room and we were able to sit without waiting in line.
