Also known as the otome lily
The day lily, also known as the otome lily, is a member of the lily family.
It is said that the name "Himesayuri" was derived from "Hime" (meaning "princess" in Japanese) because of the cute image of its small flowers, and "Sasa" (meaning "early" in Japanese) because it blooms early among lilies.
