Even beginners will feel at ease♪

MERIDA X BASE has a large selection of rental bikes, including e-bikes, MTBs, and road bikes, in addition to displaying and test-riding most of the vehicles available in Japan. Located in the center of the Izu Peninsula, BASE is adjacent to flat cycling courses such as the banks of the Kano River and the Cycle Train line, where visitors can ride together on the train without disassembling their bicycles, making it easy for beginners to enjoy cycling with no need to bring anything.

Guided tours are completely tailor-made guided tours, with courses set according to participants' requests. Visitors can enjoy scenic views and savor Izu's fresh seafood. E-bikes with assistance are available for those who are not confident in their physical strength.

Riding course has been renewed!

The riding course was renewed in April 2022. We will offer courses that are tailored to the level of the participants, from those who are new to riding sports bikes to those who have competed in races and want to improve their competitive skills. We also hold mechanics' training sessions where participants can learn how to wash their bikes as part of their daily maintenance and how to deal with problems while riding. Kids' classes cover a wide range of topics, from removing auxiliary wheels to making a debut on a sports bike.

New area "Pump Track Course" is OPEN!

In April 2022, a new area "Pump Track Course" will open!
The Pump Track Course is open for BMX and MTB, which have been attracting attention in recent years, including being adopted as an Olympic event. The indoor facility makes it easy to experience even on rainy days.
