At Tsugaru Kokeshi Museum, you can see how craftsmen actually make Kokeshi Dolls. The craftsmen demonstrate the process of making kokeshi dolls on a daily basis, and they make about 5 small kokeshi dolls a day, or 10 in some cases. It is a valuable experience to see up close the skills of a master craftsman, from the woodworking to the painting of the kokeshi dolls!
