Power Spot in Aizu♪ Isasumi Shrine

Isasumi Shrine is located in the Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture and is said to be a power spot in the Aizu region with a history of 2,000 years. It is said that if you visit the shrine when you are in doubt about something, you will receive inspiration and strong power. The four deities are Izanagi no Mikoto, Izanami no Mikoto, Ohikonomikoto, and Takenunakawakenomikoto, collectively called "Isasumi no Taimeijin. Legend has it that Ohiko-no-mikoto and Takenunakawawakeno-mikoto met each other, hence the name "Aizu" (Aizu). The shrine is also said to be blessed with good luck for marriage as it enshrines Izanagi no Mikoto (Izanagi no Mikoto) and Izanami no Mikoto (Izanami no Mikoto), who were the first couple on earth to become man and wife.
The Otaue Festival is one of the three major rice-planting festivals in Japan, and includes "lion chasing," "portable shrine procession," and "rice-planting ceremony. During the cherry blossom season, the sacred "Usuzumizakura" cherry tree blooms, and during the rainy season, the "Iris Garden" is filled with colorful irises. If you visit the Aizu region, why not take a short trip to this power spot to recharge your energy and luck?
