A popular exhibit at the "Aomori x Jomon Museum," an event held at the end of March 2022 in Tokyo Station to promote the World Heritage Site "Hokkaido and North Tohoku Jomon Sites," has now arrived at Shin-Aomori Station!

~What kind of sound does it make?

First, in front of the Shinkansen ticket gate at Shin-Aomori Station.
The "Silver Bell" is a famous meeting spot at Tokyo Station.
The "Apple Bell" that was displayed next to the "Silver Bell" at the event is now, to my surprise, inside Shin-Aomori Station.
As you can see when you get close to it, the "Apple Bell" is very shiny and glittering.
It really looks like a big, delicious apple.
It makes you want to take a picture of it.

~Thinking back to the Jomon period - Dodogu Nebuta

In addition to the "Apple Bell," there is another item that was moved from Tokyo Station.
It is the "Dogu Nebuta," which is modeled after the "Shakogu Dogu," a clay figurine.
It is displayed near the waiting room inside the Shinkansen ticket gate.
It is currently on display with "Aomori Nebuta," "Hirosaki Neputa," and "Goshogawara Tachineputa" to welcome visitors to Shin-Aomori Station.

Many people may think of "apples" and "Nebuta" when they think of Aomori. You can see both of them at Shin-Aomori Station!
When you visit Shin-Aomori Station, be sure to check out the new spots, "Apple Bell" and "Clay Figure Nebuta".
