At the end of the trip, you can enjoy the ekiben on the train while soaking up the memories of your trip.
At the end of a trip, we eat ekiben on the train, immersed in the memories of our trip.
Ekiben is a magic box that is always by our side to fill our stomachs and hearts.
Founded in 1920! Obento no Kobayashi
It is said that the first beef tongue bento to appear at Sendai Station was a heated beef tongue bento made by Obento no Kobayashi. I remember how impressed I was to be able to eat a warm ekiben when the "Beef tongue bento" was first introduced, which warmed up when the string was pulled! I remember how impressed I was when the "Beef tongue bento," which heated up when the string was pulled, went on sale. The beef tongue bento from "Obento no Kobayashi" spread Sendai's beef tongue all over Japan on the Shinkansen bullet train.

Date Busyoutai Bento
The main rice dish is harako-meshi! Sendai miso beef tongue is soft and chewy and goes well with both rice and sake. Shiroishi Onmen, a specialty of Miyagi Prefecture, is served as carpaccio! It has a refreshing taste. The fluffy and elastic sasa-kamaboko (bamboo grass kamaboko) is also very satisfying.
The dish is packed with local specialties of Sendai and Miyagi, which were ruled by the Date family! It also comes with a bookmark featuring the "Date Busyoutai" (Date Warriors).

Musubi Maru Bento
When you open the lid, you will meet the eyes of the dull-eyed Musubi Maru. It is very painful to eat such a cute Musubi Maru, but it matches perfectly with the seasoning of red radish, pickled long eggplant, and simmered vegetables, and I ate it right afterwards.
The harako-meshi (harako rice), a delicacy of Miyagi Prefecture, is also included in this dish to satisfy your hunger!
Why not make this fun to look at and delicious to eat bento a part of your trip?

Harakomeshi with silver salmon
This harakomeshi is made from silver salmon, so it is fatty, tender, and really delicious. It also contains a lot of salmon roe and is very satisfying! Both the silver salmon and the rice are well seasoned and have a gentle flavor that is easy to eat for men and women of all ages.

Date's oyster rice from Miyagi Prefecture
It is also a great match for Miyagi's local sake.
