The three most famous cherry trees in Japan are: Neotani Awamokuzakura (Motosu City, Gifu Prefecture), Yamataka Jindaizakura (Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture), and Miharu Takizakura (Miharu Fall Cherry Blossom).
