A popular local cherry blossom viewing spot

A cherry blossom festival will be held at Kobayashi Ranch over April 2 and 3.
Kobayashi Ranch is home to approximately 200 cherry trees, including someiyoshino, weeping cherry, and yaezakura. The 700-meter-long row of cherry trees from the entrance is beautiful, and during the festival, visitors can enjoy the cherry blossoms at night when they are lit up. During the cherry blossom festival, food stalls selling red rice, pork miso soup, noshimochi, yakiimo (sweet potatoes), popcorn, yo-yo scooping, etc., as well as vegetables and pickles produced in Inzai will be on sale. The best time to enjoy the festive atmosphere at the food stalls is from 10:00 to 15:00.

The area has been selected as one of the "500 Charms of Boso".

Kobayashi Ranch is a racehorse training center established in 1960, and was selected as one of the "500 Charms of Boso" in 1983, based on recommendations from each municipality, to commemorate Chiba Prefecture's population exceeding 5 million people. The rows of cherry trees at Kobayashi Pasture are one of them.

The Inzai City Tourist Association has designated "Yoshitaka's Big Cherry Tree," a 300-year-old tree, and "Kobayashi Pasture's Cherry Trees" as one of the eight scenic spots in Inzai. The rows of cherry trees continue to be loved by local people as a scenic spot in Inzai City.

Visitors can enjoy the various beauties of the rows of cherry trees every time they visit, from the beginning of the blooming season to cherry blossoms in full bloom, and even a blizzard of cherry blossoms as they fall. The best time to visit will continue until the season of leafy cherry blossoms and fresh greenery.
*This tour may be canceled depending on the new coronavirus infection situation. Also, the best time to view cherry blossoms may differ from previous years. Please check the official website for more information before you go.
