Take a walk through the tunnel of cherry blossoms♪
Chidorigafuchi Greenway

Have you decided where you want to see the cherry blossoms this year?
There are many places famous for cherry blossoms in Tokyo, and Chidorigafuchi is one of the most popular spots where many people, both Japanese and foreigners, enjoy cherry blossom viewing every year!
The cherry blossoms along the Chidorigafuchi Greenway, located right next to the Imperial Palace, are usually at their best from late March to early April.
The 700-meter-long promenade is also a sight to behold, with approximately 260 cherry trees, including Someiyoshino, in full bloom! You will surely be compelled to take pictures!
Why don't you try a different kind of hanami?
Chidorigafuchi Boat Park

This is a recommended spot where you can take a boat ride and view the cherry blossoms from the surface of the moat.
The cherry blossoms stretch out toward the water like a curtain, and it is wonderful to see a different view than usual.
Looking up at the cherry blossoms in full bloom from below is a spectacular sight, but the petals floating on the water after a cherry blossom blizzard is also tasteful.
Very popular among small children! Swan boats are also available!

Chiyoda Cherry Blossom Festival 2025" will be held!

Chiyoda's Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from March 12 (Wed.) to April 23 (Wed.), 2025!
This year, the period is set longer than usual, so you will be able to visit not only once, but twice or even three times!
During this period, the cherry trees along Chidorigafuchi Ryokudo will be lit up and the boatyard will be open at night, so you can enjoy the cherry blossoms at night on a boat. (The period of illumination will be announced on the official website around March 10.)
Chiyoda-ku is not only famous for Chidorigafuchi, but also for Yasukuni Shrine, the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, and many other cherry blossom spots, so it is a good idea to take a walk around.
