Did you know that April 13 is "Coffee Shop Day" because Japan's first authentic coffee shop, "Kanake Chakan," opened in Ueno, Tokyo?
We will introduce a series of recommended stores from Morioka, a city with many attractive coffee shops and cafes.

A coffee specialty store where the aroma of coffee wafts from the open space

Located about 10 minutes by car from JR Morioka Station, Nagasawa COFFEE has been open for 10 years since January 2012. We purchase green coffee beans, roast them, and serve them. The aroma of coffee wafts from the open-air store. The store is a popular coffee specialty store that attracts customers of all ages, from students to the elderly, as well as customers from inside and outside Iwate Prefecture.
As soon as you enter the store, you will see a large roasting machine, a vintage machine made in Germany in the 1960s, which is said to be highly appreciated around the world. The iron casting used for the roasting kettle weighs 1 ton, giving it a strong presence.

There are several kinds of sweets from the regular menu to seasonal menus. You can order them individually or as a set with several kinds of coffee, so why not enjoy them with your favorite sweets and coffee?

The coffee menu offered is very extensive. You can choose from deep-roasted, medium-roasted, and shallow-roasted coffees, and the menu also lists the ratio of espresso to milk, so even if you are not a coffee expert, you will be able to find a cup to your liking. Coffee and non-coffee drinks are offered according to the season and can be enjoyed throughout the year.
