Located at an elevation of about 571 meters above sea level, the castle is an independent mountain that takes about 45 minutes one way on a slow walk. From the top, a panoramic view of Tsuru City can be seen, and it is affectionately called "Castle Mountain" by the locals. From early to mid-April, about 150 Someiyoshino cherry trees bloom all over the mountain, and the best time to view them is from early to mid-April. Fuji over the cherry blossoms is spectacular!
