A dream collaboration of Nodoguro and Kabako Crab! A Sai A Sai

The most popular winter food in Hokuriku is crab. And if you are a local, you prefer to eat female Kabako crab rather than male snow crab. There is a restaurant near Kanazawa Station where you can enjoy both of these delicacies! The restaurant is located on the second floor of Cross Gate Kanazawa, a commercial facility about a three-minute walk to the right from the Kanazawa Station Kanazawa Port Exit (West Exit). It is a restaurant specializing in nodoguro (sea urchin) cuisine.
When we ordered kamameshi, we were told that it takes 30 minutes to steam the fish. After all, you can't eat delicious food right away. During this time, we had to wait for sake and an appetizer. The sweetness spreads as you bite into it, and the miso flavor comes later. The level of this appetizer is so high that it raises expectations.
Finally, it was time for the kamameshi. This time, I did not order any other dishes because I wanted the kamameshi (one of the reasons why I ordered only one dish is that the price is quite reasonable). When we removed the lid, we found a red shell of Kabako crab, which we could tell was delicious just by looking at it! After loosening the throat crab and crab meat with a rice scoop, I put it in my mouth and could clearly feel the crunchy texture of the outer shell of the Kabako crab, and the inner shell, crab meat, and throat crab were all intertwined with the fat and rich flavor, which was indescribably delicious. The flavor soaks into the rice, and the moment you eat it, you can't help but smile (^O^). The amount of rice was about 2 cups, so I was surprisingly full. Why don't you try this winter's special treat while you are on a trip?
