The Tokyo Tower is probably the first image that comes to mind for many people.
The familiar landmark light is the Tokyo Tower's standard illumination, with 180 lights shining toward the tower at night in two patterns, the "summer version" and the "winter version. From around the seventh evening of each year, the summer version is based on a cool white color, and from the night of early October, the winter version changes to a warm orange light. The lights are turned on from sunset to 24:00.
(There was no change to the summer version in 2021.)

New light-up of 2025 to be unleashed on Monday nights

The "Infinity Diamond Veil" is the new light-up for 2021. This light-up, which started lighting up in November 2019, has been delighting people as a new nighttime appearance of Tokyo Tower, with each of the 268 LED lights installed on the 17 levels of the tower creating an infinite pattern of light colors. Every Monday night, the lights shine in 12 colors designated for each month.

A new "pure white shimmer" effect that will be turned on every day

From sunset to 23:00, the light is emitted every hour (00 minutes) for 3 minutes of "pure white twinkling".
The "Diamond Tiara" on the top of the Top Deck (250m Observation Deck) and the "Diamond Choker" on the top of the Main Deck (150m Observation Deck) will twinkle in pure white light color for three minutes.
