A beautiful bridge spanning a magnificent expanse of nature.

Takizawa Dam is a sightseeing spot in Chichibu, a beautiful natural area in Saitama Prefecture. Downstream of the dam is a huge loop bridge, the Raiden Torokibashi (Raiden Hatsurokugi Bridge). The half-loop located on the east side is called the Otaki Otaki Bridge, and the half-loop on the west side is called the Hatsurokki Bridge, and together the two are called the Raiden Hatsurokki Bridge. There is a height difference of approximately 125 m between the upper and lower reaches of the dam, and this loop bridge connects the two.

How about a night drive?

The loop bridge is popular for its beautiful shape and its impressive size. The bridge is beautiful from all angles: from the Takizawa Dam, from below the dam, from the parking lot of the loop bridge, etc. At night, the lights on the loop beautifully glow, giving the bridge a different charm from the daytime.
