  • Miyagi
  • Sightseeing
Here are some spots in Minamisanriku that you can enjoy with your pets!
Why don't you come and visit Minamisanriku with your beloved family?

Shinwarizaki Campsite

The key point is that you can camp in an open space with your pooch. You can enjoy a relaxing and private time while watching the sea. Also, the sunrise from among the oddly shaped rocks located just a short distance from the Kanwarizaki campground is a powerful sight to behold!
Selected as one of the "100 best places for white sand and green pine trees" in Japan, the sunrise can be seen between the rocks in mid-February and late October every year! Depending on the weather and other conditions, you may not be able to see the sunrise, and each sunrise lasts only 10 days to 2 weeks, so you will be lucky if you can see it at any time of the year!

San San Shopping Street

There are several places near stores where you can hang your pet's leash, so there is no need to worry about your pet getting separated from you. The San San Market offers rental water containers for pets to drink. The Reconstruction Memorial Park is also located behind the market, making it a good place to take a walk.

Sanore Sodehama

This is a great spot to stop by after a day of sightseeing in the San San shopping district. In summer, it is also popular to cool off together on the beach. If you go in the evening, you can see the sunset, which is very beautiful ^^^.

Tatsuganesan (Mt. Tatsuganesan)

Mt. Tazoku has long been known as a sacred mountain. You can drive to the top of the mountain, so it is a good idea to take a drive with your pet and enjoy the view from the top. The autumn leaves will be at their peak from now on, so why don't you come and see them in Minamisanriku?
