In Fukushima Prefecture, there is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot called "Hanamiyama Park," which attracts many tourists from inside and outside of the prefecture every year. In this article, we will introduce the highlights and access to "Hanamiyama Park," also known as "Fukushima's Peach Blossom Land.

Hanamiyama Park, one of Fukushima Prefecture's most popular flower viewing spots.

The late Shotaro Akiyama, one of Japan's most famous photographers, visited "Hanamiyama Park" every year and praised it as "Fukushima's Peach Blossom Garden. It is not widely known that the mountain is actually privately owned. The second generation owner of "Hanamiyama Park" cultivated a wooded area and planted various flowering plants such as plum and cherry trees for daily life around 1935. Since then, the park has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Fukushima Prefecture, visited by many people from Japan and abroad.

The highlight is the sight of flowers all blooming at the same time.

In spring, the sight of plum blossoms, cherry trees, Yoshino cherry trees, Japanese pagoda trees, and peach trees all blooming at the same time is a spectacular sight. The contrast between the Azuma mountain range and the blooming flowers from the top of the mountain is also recommended.
