Easily reachable bold waterfall

The Karasuyama Line connecting the prefectural capital, Utsunomiya, to Karasuyama has many unique station names. Hoshakuji Temple" and "Daikin," which sound very auspicious, and "Ryumon Falls," which is the highest point of the waterfall. The nearest station to Ryumon-no-taki here is "Taki. The names of these stations make you want to get off the train without knowing it! You won't regret getting off on the way! A five-minute walk through the tranquil scenery will bring you up close and personal to the majestic flow of the Yongmun Waterfall. The 20-meter-high, 65-meter-wide waterfall is a magnificent sight to see, and the spray from the waterfall is very pleasant. The area around the waterfall is maintained by a walking trail, and it is possible to take pictures by combining the waterfall with a train on the Karasuyama Line. During the harsh winter season, the waterfalls sometimes freeze over, presenting a different scenery. This is a waterfall you will want to visit in all four seasons!

If you take a detour across the waterfall, you can look up at it from either side.
