Nakamise Dori

Did you know that Nakamise-dori is not only in Asakusa, but also in Kawasaki?

Nakamise-dori is a street stretching 150 meters from the front of Daisamon Gate at the entrance of Kawasaki Daishi Temple.
Nakamise-dori is crowded with worshippers, and is lined with stores selling such items as the famous Totoko candy, Kuzumochi (rice cakes) that are said to bring happiness, manju (sweet buns), Daruma dolls, and other items.
Please stop by when you visit Kawasaki Daishi.
