Usui Pass Railway Cultural Village, a railroad theme park for children and adults

The "Usui Toge Railway Cultural Village" is a hands-on theme park built on the site of the former Yokokawa Operation Center adjacent to Yokokawa Station on the JR Shinetsu Main Line, and is based on the concept of "see, touch and experience!
The facility has a course where you can ride "Aputokun" around the track, a "Symbol Square" with many playground equipment and rides for children, a "mini SL" operation course, an apt-type railroad exhibit, a railroad exhibition hall, and a railroad museum, where you can learn about the history of railroads and see displays of old-fashioned trains and platforms. The open-air exhibition area and view plaza will be open to the public.

The perfect place to take a break while looking at the famous cars on display outdoors.

In the open-air exhibition hall and view square, visitors can see trains, electric locomotives, and steam locomotives from the days of the Japanese National Railways. In addition, diesel locomotives, diesel trains, and passenger coaches are restored and displayed, and on weekends and holidays, some of the trains can actually be viewed inside, making this a must-see for railroad fans!
This railroad theme park can satisfy both children and adults. The park also has a spacious lawn that is very pleasant, so why not visit with a picnic and a packed lunch?
