Ginzan Onsen
Ginzan Onsen offers a retro landscape that makes you feel as if you have stepped back in time. The traditional scenery of Ginzan Onsen has been preserved as it was in the past, with inns built directly from the spring water that gushes out along the riverside and used as indoor baths.

Nostalgic Onsen Town

Western-style wooden multi-story inns built between the late Taisho and early Showa eras create the unique atmosphere of Ginzan Onsen, and in the evening the town is lit by gas lamps. Combined with the lights of the buildings, they create a fantastic and nostalgic Japanese atmosphere.

Strolling in the hot spring resort town

One of the charms of Ginzan Onsen is walking around the town. The walls of the inns are decorated with colorful paintings called kote-e, and the asphalt is covered with tiles resembling snow crystals. At "Waraku Ashiyu," visitors can soak in a footbath right next to the Ginzan River using the source of the spring water, creating an extraordinary feeling unique to a hot spring resort town. There are also a variety of cafes, eating spots, and souvenir shops, making it an enjoyable hot spring resort town to stroll around.
