This is a hidden cafe "Kobiri," which first-time visitors may pass by! It is a wonderful store that I recently discovered. Kobiri is a small pastry shop located in Nomi City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Inside the relaxing store, you will find many delicious baked goods. The baked goods are not only delicious, but also made with the finest ingredients. The sweets are made with local ingredients such as rice flour from Nomi City, rice candy from Kaga, and natural sea salt from Suzu, as well as other domestic ingredients.
The muffins are especially popular and loved by the locals. Because of their great popularity, more than 10 kinds of muffins were available at the time of opening, but they were sold out after lunchtime. By the way, my favorite snack is a square-shaped cookie named "Kaga Bocha Cube," which has an irresistible crunchy texture! If you like hard cookies, please try them! Nomi City is located on the way to Kaga Onsen Hot Springs from Kanazawa. It is a bit difficult to get there by train, so if you rent a car and tour around the prefecture, please stop by.
