He started growing hydrangeas by himself about 16 years ago, hoping that many people would enjoy the impression he got.

Hydrangeas at Unshoji Temple are characterized by the large number of flowers on each plant. When in full bloom, the hydrangeas bloom all over the temple like a blue carpet. In the background, the sea of Oga spreads out, creating a contrast of the three blues of "hydrangea," "sea," and "sky.

The blooming season is from June to July. Why not get lost in another world of blue at Unshoji, a hydrangea temple?
