Breakfast at Hotel Intergate Kanazawa

Breakfast of freshly baked bread and delicious vegetables" boasts a menu of more than 50 different items that the chef has added a special touch to. Not only the common menu of Hotel Intergate, but also many local menus unique to the area were lined up! Here is a report on what we actually ate.

Homemade tofu with natural bittern from Suzu and carrots from Ishikawa

The first thing that caught my eye was the light orange tofu! It was homemade tofu made with natural bittern from Suzu and carrots grown in Ishikawa Prefecture! The tofu was delicious with a hint of sweetness from the carrots!

Lots of menu items according to the season

We, the Hokuriku editorial staff, visited on June 6, 2025. It was during the spring menu period, so dishes using bamboo shoots, wild vegetables, and firefly squid were on the menu. At Hotel Intergate Kanazawa, spring, summer, fall, and winter = four major menu changes per year! The breakfast contents allow you to feel the season at the time of your stay.
Rice cooked with Noto wild vegetables

The Hokuriku editorial staff has selected three menus!

Hotel Intergate Kanazawa offers a wide variety of salads! I was especially happy to be able to eat a lot of prawns - ♡ I am also happy to have Kanazawa curry. The yellow soup on the upper left is "Noto Pumpkin and Firefly Squid Cold Soup. The combination of pumpkin and firefly squid is rare...!
I love prawns too much!
This person chose macaroni salad... ♪ Homemade tofu and pumpkin soup is popular (laughs) Tasting a menu with local ingredients is one of the best parts of traveling... ♪ The menu is also well-stocked with standard items such as scrambled eggs and bacon.
Mild curry for children
People here seem to be bread lovers in the morning. (Okowa is also available.) One of the attractions of Hotel Intergate Kanazawa's breakfast is the wide variety of breads!

Here's what the dessert lineup looks like

There were many kinds of sweets, including Kanazawa's typical "Kaga hojicha jelly," cream puffs, petit cakes, daifuku (rice cake), warabimochi (rice cakes), fruits, and more. Sweets are a separate stomach. I couldn't help but overeat.

Not just breakfast! Hotel Intergate Kanazawa's hospitality

The Intergate Lounge offers a variety of services depending on the time of day.

After arrival, enjoy a cup of coffee with local "specialties"!

After arriving at the hotel, you want to take a breather, don't you? At the Intergate Lounge, you can enjoy a cup of coffee made with carefully selected beans from a long-established local coffee shop, using beans purchased from Dart Coffee, which has been a favorite in Kanazawa since its establishment in 1945, and taking about three minutes to make one cup to bring out the best flavor. The coffee is made using a fully automatic drip machine that takes about three minutes to make one cup of coffee to bring out the best flavor!

Afternoon and ochazuke (rice with tea) services are available even if you are feeling a little hungry♪

Depending on the time of day, the lounge also offers snacks and ochazuke. The nightly ochazuke is the perfect way to finish off your evening meal after returning to your hotel after a night of drinking on the municipality's streets! (I'm so glad because if I only had drinks and snacks, I'd get hungry before going to bed!)
) Not only is there plenty to drink and eat, but there is also a wealth of hands-on content!

Kaga Hachiman Kigaraki Painting Experience, a traditional craft

Kaga Hachiman Kigarashi, a rare traditional craft and local toy, is one of the 36 traditional crafts of Ishikawa Prefecture and is also the motif of the prefecture's tourism PR mascot character. It is popularly known as a good omen for family prosperity, good health, prosperity of company business, and prosperity of business. Visitors can take home as a memento of their trip a drawing of a face that resembles their own or that of a family member. Other activities include mizuhiki (a traditional Japanese paper wrapping) and kokeshi doll painting, allowing guests to experience the local culture while staying at the hotel. There is a fee for these experiences, and the amount varies depending on the content.

A bathtub where you can stretch out your legs and relax.

Hotel Intergate Kanazawa is equipped with a large public bath, which will warm and soothe your tired body after a day of walking around for business or sightseeing. If you stretch your legs and relax, you will be able to enjoy yourself actively the next day.
