Nasu Kogen Rindo Lake Family Ranch, located in Nasu Town, Tochigi Prefecture, is a long-established sightseeing ranch that will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2025. Located in the center of Nasu Highlands, it is accessible from Tokyo in about 2.5 hours by car. On weekends and holidays, a reservation-only shuttle bus service to and from JR Nasushiobara Station is also available, so there is no need to worry even if you do not have a car. The location is rich in nature and offers both healing and active experiences.

The number of alpacas raised is the largest in Japan! Have a relaxing time interacting with the animals!

Nasu Highlands Rindoko Family Farm offers a full range of experiences (some with fees) that allow visitors to interact directly with cute animals such as alpacas, goats, guinea pigs, and rabbits. Surprisingly, Nasu Highlands Rindoko Family Farm has an impressive 150 or more alpacas! This is the largest number in Japan, and there are also activities such as walking with alpacas and glamping surrounded by alpacas that can only be experienced at Nasu Highlands Lake Rindoko Family Ranch!

Recommended on the menu is the "Bacon Cheeseburger," a hearty burger topped with thick bacon and rich cheese. The juicy patties and fresh vegetables are a perfect match for this special burger, making it a very satisfying meal. Also popular are the latte made with our own Jersey milk and deep-frozen coffee brewed with carefully selected specialty beans. At Nasu Highlands Lake Rindo Family Farm, you can choose from three types of glamping: Japan's first "lake glamping," "alpaca glamping," where you can spend time in the same area as alpacas, and "lakeside glamping," which offers a spectacular view of the Lake Rindo lakeside. All are stylish dome-shaped tents that offer a comfortable and extraordinary stay. Nasu Kogen Rindoko Family Ranch allows cosplayers to enter all year round, and is popular among cosplayers for its lakeside, ranch, and animal petting zones, all of which offer unique photo opportunities. Another great point is that you can freely take photos without prior application. This is a great place for a photo trip, as it allows you to recreate the world of the work in a natural setting.

The 31st Lake Rindo Fireworks Festival" lights up the night sky of Nasu

In the summer of 2025, the 31st Lake Rindo Fireworks Festival will be held at Nasu Highlands Lake Rindo Family Farm. The event will be held a total of 13 times from July 20 (Sunday) to September 21 (Sunday)! Especially on August 13 (Wed.) and 14 (Thu.), a massive 6,000 shots will be launched each time, making it an outstanding spectacle.

Admission to the park is required for viewing the fireworks, and advance tickets for spectator seats will be available from July 8 (Tue.). Details will be announced on the official website. This is a special event to colorful summer nights and a perfect way to end your trip to Nasu. Don't forget to check the weather beforehand, as the event will be canceled in case of rain or strong winds!
