The park is home to more than 5,000 trees of more than 60 varieties, including seasonal flowers and grasses, plum trees, cherry trees, and pine trees, as well as 4,500 bush clovers of 6 varieties, including Japanese lespedeza, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the beauty of nature in spring, summer, and fall.

The best time to see the irises is from late June to early July. The vivid colors of the flowers stand out in the moist rainy season air.
The 44th Asamai Park Iris Festival
In 2025, the festival will be held for 9 days from June 21!

On Saturday and Sunday (June 21, 22, 28, and 29), there will be various events for families to enjoy, such as
-Ride imitation show (only on June 21 and 22)
-Mini Komachi ride (only on June 21 and 22)
-Food stalls and tent village for enjoying local products
Various events that can be enjoyed by the whole family are scheduled to be held. The festival is not only about flowers, but also about local culture and gourmet food.
