Yudagami Onsen has a history of more than 280 years, where hot spring water that has been gushing out since ancient times heals the body and soul!
The opening of Yudagami Onsen is quite old, and although the date of its opening is still unknown, a search of existing documents reveals that it was approved as a hot-spring cure in 1738 by the Shinbata Clan. The local people were familiar with this hot spring as "Yakushi no Yu" (hot spring of the medicine man) because of its high efficacy, and it was customary to take an ox bath on the day of the Ox in the Doyou period (the day of the Ox) to ensure a year of good health and good fortune.
The hot springs here can also be drunk, and are effective against diabetes and obesity. Please check the document about drinking hot spring water and try it for yourself.
