Takekoma Shrine enshrines the god of rice cultivation and commerce, the god of food and a bountiful harvest, and the god of marriage.
We would like to introduce "Takekoma no Mori CAFÉ Ichigumanbo," a café that opened on December 26, 2024 in the precincts of the shrine.
The name of the café, "Ichigum Manbo," means "If you sow one seed, you will reap a harvest ten thousand times as large.
After visiting the shrine, relax at a café!
You can enjoy your meal while feeling the changes of the four seasons.

If you eat, your luck will rise! Recommended menu
Takekoma inari omusubi gozen
This gorgeous and visually brilliant meal features our original "Ichigokumanbai Inari," which is inspired by Takekoma Shrine, as well as Miyagi Prefecture specialties such as oyster shiguren and shiso maki, colorful side dishes, and ingredients to bring good luck. Of course, the taste is exquisite as well!
All of the dishes are so elaborate that it is hard to decide where to start.

■Omusubi Enmusubi Gozen
Omusubi" is also said to be a way to obtain the blessings of divine power by eating rice in the shape of a mountain, which means "the form of a god.
This is an auspicious menu that combines the word "omusubi" with the word "enmusubi" (match-making).
There are three kinds of side dishes: oyster shigureni, fried chicken with tartar sauce, and chawanmushi. All of them seem to go well with rice.

■Takekoma Kitsune Soba
Soba has been treated as a good luck charm since ancient times because it is very easy to break compared to udon noodles and other dishes, and because it has the meaning of "severing ties with bad luck" and "wishing for a long life" in reference to the long growth of soba noodles.
The dish is topped with a large piece of fried bean curd that almost overflows from the bowl. It is very juicy and soaks up a lot of fragrant soup stock!
Limited to 20 parfaits a day!
Ichigokumanbai Parfait
The sponge is made of rice flour produced in Miyagi Prefecture and has a fluffy texture.
It is topped with brightly colored Temari-fu, three-color dango, and cute cookies in the shapes of torii and foxes, making it a very satisfying sweet that is fun to look at and delicious to eat.

Take-out is also available.
A highly recommended drink is the [Fukuroi Cream Soda (with fox cookie)]. It is a "lucky drink" with a bright color and creamy sweetness, and there are four different kinds, so it is fun to choose your favorite flavor depending on your mood that day.
The most popular souvenirs are the drip coffee that you can enjoy [Takekoma Blend] at home, and the [can of fox cookies]. There are three types of tins: happiness tin, love tin, and friendship tin, so why not buy one for yourself or for your family and friends?

*Photographs are of eating and drinking inside the restaurant.

In addition to the menus introduced here, there are many other attractive menus such as "Fuku Fuku Set Meal" and "Kuchifuku Sweets"! If you visit Iwanuma in Miyagi Prefecture, please be sure to stop by.
Please enjoy a lunch or tea time at "Takekoma no Mori CAFÉ Ichigokumanbo" that will soothe both your mind and stomach!
