Himi Banyagai, the Himi Fishing Port Outside Market, will hold various events from April 26 (Sat.) to May 6 (Tue.) as a GW Special this year as well! Here are some of the details!

①Self-Defense Forces Special Vehicles Exhibition
Date: May 3 (Sat., holiday), 2025 10:00 - 15:00
Location: Lawn next to Ashiyu
Self-Defense Forces special vehicles that protect the safety and security of citizens will be on display. Visitors can also experience riding in the vehicles, experience disaster prevention, and have their fingerprints taken by the police force!

(2) Fire Fighting Vehicle Exhibit
Date & Time: May 4, 2025 (Sun., holiday) 10:00-15:00
Location: South Banya Special Site
Special vehicles such as ambulance and fire fighting vehicles will come! Let's learn about firefighting and emergency services.

③ Work of Customs
Date：May 5, 2025 (Mon., holiday) 10：00～15：00
Location：South Banya Special Site
There will be a tour of an X-ray car, a demonstration of drug detection dogs (11：00～, 13：00～), special booth exhibition, and much more!

④Police Festa
Date & Time: May 6, 2025 (Tue., bank holiday) 10:00-15:00
Location: Lawn next to the footbath
Exhibit & ride in police vehicles that keep the community safe. Take a photo with Tateyama-kun, the symbolic mascot of the Toyama Prefectural Police, and a police car.

300 Himi Sardine Streamers will swim on the terrace! Himi sardines, also known as spring sardines, are popular among citizens because of their high fat content and low price.
