What is "Abukuma-do Cave"?
General Course and Exploration Course
Although you will not go into the water on these courses, there are areas with low ceilings and poor footholds, and the floors and walls may be wet and slippery. Please wear comfortable shoes that can get wet and enjoy exploring the caves. Also, please note that skirts, high-heeled shoes, flip-flops, and other types of sandals that can easily come off will not be allowed in the cave. Small children are not a problem as long as they can walk by themselves to the end of the tour, but please note that you will not be able to carry them on your back or in your arms from the middle of the tour.

Tourism Promotion "Fukushima Destination Campaign" Special Event
Visitors will experience the darkness of a limestone cave as they walk through the Abukuma Cave with all the lights turned off, relying only on the light at hand. What kind of sights will you see when you use your five senses and shine your flashlight in the cave? If you collect the keywords hidden in the cave, you will be able to get a wonderful product.

*The event will be held after regular business hours of Abukuma-do (from 17:30 in April and May, from 18:00 in June).
*Participants will be asked to enter the cave every 15 minutes from the starting time.
The time will be announced after the reservation is confirmed.

*Please come with comfortable walking shoes.
There are many stairs in the cave, about 300 steps in total. Strollers and wheelchairs are not allowed.
Please refrain from entering the cave if you are in poor physical condition, under the influence of alcohol, have a weak leg or back, have a heart condition, or are pregnant.
