Tateyama City in Chiba Prefecture is located in the southern part of the Boso Peninsula.

1) "Tateyama Strawberry Picking Center" where you can eat all-you-can-eat Benihoppe and Akihime strawberries.

Tateyama Strawberry Picking Center is located in JA Awa Tateno branch in Tateyama City.
From the beginning of January to consecutive holidays in May, you can pick strawberries for 30 minutes for all-you-can-eat.

2) Shiroyama Park, where 200 plum trees are in full bloom

Shiroyama Park is also well known as a flower park, with approximately 200 plum trees in full bloom from January to mid-March.

Ume can be seen in various places in the park, and the fragrance of ume can be fully appreciated when they are in full bloom.

Tateyama Castle (Hakkenden Museum) is located at the top of Shiroyama Park and exhibits various materials related to "Nanso Satomi Hakkenden," a story about the war lord Satomi, and introduces the popularity of Hakkenden that continues to this day.
At the Satomi Tea House in Shiroyama Park, visitors can enjoy "Boshu Satomi Dango," a famous confectionary of Tateyama in Minamiboso, filled with eight kinds of red bean paste related to Hakkenden.

(3) Tateyama Aburi Kaisendon, a new OMOTENASHI local gourmet dish

Tateyama Aburi Kaisen Don" is a new OMOTENASHI local gourmet dish that focuses on locally produced ingredients.
The new Kaisen-don is made on a special three-tiered rice bowl and consists of Kaisen, vegetables, and sushi, arranged in order from the top to the bottom!
In addition to turban shells, there are four kinds of seasonal seafood in the "Kaisen" category. In addition to turban shells, four types of seasonal seafood are available for "Kaisen": sashimi and seared seafood, each with its own seasoning.

(4) "Boso Flower Line," recognized as one of the 100 best roads in Japan

The "Boso Flower Line" is a 46-km coastline road from Shimo-machi intersection in Tateyama City to Wada-machi in Minamiboso City.
From January to February, the road is decorated with rape blossoms, making it ideal for a drive.
The 6-km road from Tateyama Ainohama to Ido that runs along the Hirasunoura coast has been recognized as one of the "100 best roads in Japan". There are many sightseeing spots around the Boso Flower Line, and it is highly recommended♪

5) Minato Oasis "Nagisa no Eki Tateyama

Nagisa no Eki Tateyama," a popular sightseeing spot in Tateyama, is marked by the Sakana-kun character.
You can fully experience Tateyama at "Seaside Plaza" where you can see many fish, "Observation Deck" where you can overlook Tateyama Bay, "Umi no Marche Tateyama" where you can buy Tateyama souvenirs, and "Tateyama Nagisa Restaurant" where you can eat fresh Tateyama fish.
