Nango tomatoes are a specialty of Minamiaizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture, and are characterized by their high sugar content, firm flesh, and firm texture.
It is produced from late July to late October as a representative summer/autumn tomato. The four distinct seasons of Minamiaizu Town, its high elevation, and the temperature difference between day and night produce high quality tomatoes.

Tomato ramen noodles are made with thick local chijire noodles, and the soup is Italian-style with spicy miso paste and ripe tomatoes.

Nango Tomato Juice, which is made by squeezing the deliciousness of Nango tomatoes into juice, contains only Nango tomatoes and salt. It has a firm sweetness and richness, and even those who do not like tomato juice can enjoy drinking it.
