What is OIGEN Factory Shop?

OIGEN Factory Shop is a direct sales store of OIGEN Foundry in Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture, which casts traditional Nambu iron kettles and pots, a traditional craft of Iwate Prefecture, as well as Nambu ironware that can be enjoyed in modern lifestyle. There are also limited products sold only here and an outlet corner.
Also, our staff will guide you on how to use, rust care, and recommended products.

Excellent iron rice kettles that cook delicious rice

Starting Friday, September 27, OIGEN Factory Shop (Iwate directly-operated store) is featuring iron rice kettles, an excellent tool for cooking delicious rice, just in time for the new rice season.

Iron rice kettles warm up quickly and evenly throughout the pot, making the rice dance with energy. And because of its high heat storage capacity, the "steaming" state after the heat is turned off locks in the maximum amount of flavor components (sweetness) in the rice, resulting in fluffy, delicious rice.

At the Factory Shop, we offer a variety of iron rice kettles to suit your lifestyle.

We also offer a variety of tableware and cooking utensils that are indispensable to the dining table, such as wooden Ohitsu and bento lunchboxes by Odate Kougeisha, which are essential for finishing off delicious rice, tea bowls by Tobo Maruyo that are not too heavy and easy to use, and bamboo chopsticks by Yamachiku that are light, flexible, and durable.
