What is OIGEN Factory Shop?

OIGEN Factory Shop is a direct sales store of OIGEN Foundry in Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture, which casts traditional Nambu iron kettles and pots, a traditional craft of Iwate Prefecture, as well as Nambu ironware that can be enjoyed in modern lifestyle. There are also limited products sold only here and an outlet corner.
Also, our staff will guide you on how to use, rust care, and recommended products.

We are pleased to announce a demonstration event at the OIGEN Factory Shop (Iwate directly managed store).

Season for delicious rice♪
We will demonstrate how to cook rice from Iwate Prefecture, carefully grown by farmers, in OIGEN's own iron rice kettle on October 13, 2024 (Sunday)!

The iron rice cooker heats up quickly and evenly throughout the pot, making the rice dance with energy. The high heat storage capacity of iron rice kettles maximizes the amount of flavor (sweetness) trapped in the rice during the "steaming" stage after the heat is turned off, resulting in fluffy, delicious rice.

Enjoy the taste of autumn with white rice cooked in an iron rice cooker. While cooking rice, we will explain the features of the iron rice cooker, tips on how to cook rice, and how to take care of it. Please feel free to stop by. We look forward to seeing you at our store.
