In addition to the beautiful trees that change from season to season, Omiya Park has a boating pond, a free zoo, a retro children's playground, a Japanese garden that opened on the site of a former ryotei restaurant that operated until the early Showa period, and the oldest soccer stadium in Japan, so you can spend your time after visiting Hikawa Shrine. You can also enjoy a relaxing time after visiting Hikawa Shrine.

Parents and generations can also enjoy! Free zoo and retro amusement park

The park's popular family spots, a free zoo and a retro children's playground, were opened in 1953.
The small zoo opened in 1953. Although the zoo is free of charge, it is home to a wide variety of animals, including squirrels, monkeys, foxes, capybaras, and black bears. There is also a large flying gauge where visitors can see flamingos and many other bird species up close.
The children's amusement park next door is lined with retro rides that remind one of the Showa period (1926-1989). The symbolic flying tower was installed in 1950 when the Sports Land was opened. Other rides, such as a battery car that costs 100 to 200 yen and a bean train that can accommodate two people, are just like those seen on the rooftops of department stores in the olden days, and both children and adults are captivated by them!
In the plaza in front of the park, there are slides, swings, a jungle gym, and a sandbox, so you can enjoy the whole day to the fullest.
