The Innai Ginzan Ijinkan was opened in 1989 as an archive that recounts the history of the Innai Ginzan Silver Mine, and is a somewhat unusual museum that also serves as the station building for Innai Station on the JR Ou Main Line.
The exterior of the building is in the style of a brick structure and is reminiscent of the residence of a German mining engineer.
On the first floor, specialties of the Ogatsu region and seasonal scenes are introduced through videos.
On the second floor, in the historical materials exhibition room, materials and models of the Innai Ginzan and Jomon period earthenware excavated in the town are displayed to show the lifestyle of the time. You can learn about the lifestyle of the time.
