Have you ever had scallops in miso soup? At Hakodate Asaichi Sakaeya, you can enjoy miso soup filled with scallops in their shells. The ingredients are simply scallops and green onions. The scallop soup is very tasty. Of course, you can eat the meat of the scallop as well. The scallops are small, but thick and tasty, and very satisfying to eat.

Eiya is the only place in Hakodate Asaichi where you can eat all you can eat!

Hakodate Asaichi Sakaeya also recommends oysters, scallops, and crab gankan-yaki. Gan-gan-yaki is a wild dish that is said to have originated when fishermen used to put seafood in a large can and steam it to eat while warming themselves by a fire on the beach. Hakodate Sakaeya offers an all-you-can-eat menu (with rice) that allows you to taste this Gangan-yaki to your heart's content. The all-you-can-eat oyster gankan-yaki can be ordered from a minimum of two persons. Squid fishing experience is squid?

In the southern region of Hokkaido, where Hakodate is located, squid fishing is conducted from June to November. During this season, visitors can experience squid fishing for a limited time. The staff at the store will prepare squid sashimi and squid somen for you, so you can enjoy the fresh squid that only Hakodate can offer. *The event may be cancelled in case of heavy rain or bad weather.

Hakodate Asaichi Eiya is open until 2:00 p.m., so you can use the restaurant for lunch as well as breakfast.
