Wagurumi soft serve ice cream / Riasupark

The cream is made with 100% Wagurumi from Iwate Prefecture and luxurious milk from Yamaji Dairy Farm in Tanohata Village. The cream is slightly walnut-colored, and the soft and chewy texture of the three-colored dumplings is lovely! It enhances the overall flavor of the dumplings.
The dumpling has a rich aroma unique to Wagurumi and the original richness of milk, but with a refreshing aftertaste.
Shelling walnuts, especially wagurumi (onigurumi), is quite a difficult task, but as part of the reconstruction assistance for the Great East Japan Earthquake, the people in Sanriku are carefully working on it.
In addition, the accompanying ukiwaki dango are handmade in the restaurant with care, using glutinous rice from Noda Village, which is used in the farmer's restaurant "Kamado Tsukiya" in Noda Village on the Sanriku coast, and made using a stone mortar and pestle. The green color is made from mugwort and the purple color from undiluted mountain grape juice. The name "ukiuki dango" comes from the fact that the dumplings float when they are boiled, and the name was given to the dumplings to make one's mood more upbeat.
The recommended way to eat them is to add a little shoyu or salt to the dumplings to give them a sweet and sour flavor.
This may seem surprising, but it makes them even more delicious. The restaurant carries shoyu and salt produced in Iwate Prefecture. Please try them and enjoy the twice-delicious taste!
