Toki Air is the first airline based at Niigata Airport, and its head office is located in Niigata Prefecture. I am looking forward to seeing what kind of plane it will be. Let's take a look around the cabin of the Toki Air.

Toki Air's aircraft is an ATR72-600 model with 72 seats. Although it may seem compact, the seats are as comfortable as economy class seats on domestic flights. The dark blue leather seats match Tokio Air's corporate colors, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The upper front of the seat is equipped with a pocket for storing books, etc., and the lower part of the table is equipped with a mesh pocket for storing small items. The mesh pockets are also designed to prevent passengers from forgetting personal items such as smartphones.

Toki Air" departs from and arrives at Okadama Airport near downtown Sapporo, so you can take an express train from Sapporo Station for a round-trip tour of Hokkaido.

Since Okadama Airport is only about 30 minutes away from Sapporo Station by airport shuttle bus, you can travel to Sapporo Station after arriving at Niigata Airport, and then transfer to an express train to travel to various places in Hokkaido. For example, after arriving at Okadama Airport, you could have lunch in Sapporo City, take the "Limited Express Suzuran" train to Noboribetsu Station, and stay overnight at Noboribetsu Onsen Hot Spring. After arriving at Noboribetsu Station, you can take a local bus to Noboribetsu Onsen just in time to check in. In this way, you can feel closer to Hokkaido by using Toki Air and the limited express train. It is also recommended to take the "Toki Air" from Okadama Airport to Niigata, take the airport limousine from Niigata Airport to Niigata Station, and then take the Joetsu Shinkansen from Niigata Station to Echigo-Yuzawa Onsen for overnight stay.

The summer timetable is in effect from March 31 to October 26. The twice-daily round-trip service will remain the same, and from July 12, the service will be daily. Although there are regular passenger flights between New Chitose Airport and Niigata Airport, Toky Air is the first airline to offer flights between Niigata Airport and Okadama Airport near downtown Sapporo.

Fares are as follows.

TokiToku" can be reserved and purchased up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.
"TokiUni" can be reserved and purchased 3 days prior to the departure date, which is a good deal for passengers under 25 years old.
Discount fares for persons with disabilities are available for the passenger and a caregiver (up to one person).

Toki Air" new route will start service on April 26, 2024.

Tokio Air will begin service from Niigata Airport to Sendai Airport on April 26, 2024 (Friday), as the second route following Niigata Airport to Okadama Airport. The route will operate five days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), with two round trips per day. The flight time between Niigata Airport and Sendai Airport is only about 45 to 50 minutes, so you can efficiently travel from one area to another and spend plenty of time in the area you want to enjoy. Why don't you consider using "Toki Air" for a round trip to Hokkaido, Niigata, or Tohoku in your travel plans for your upcoming summer vacation? I would love to fly Toki Air myself.
