Aizu region is famous for its sauced pork cutlet bowl, but Yanaizu's sauced pork cutlet bowl is a little different, with a fried egg underneath the cutlet! The Yanaizu Sauce Katsu-don, which has been popular in Yanaizu since long ago, consists of cabbage on a bed of rice, a fluffy, tender egg omelet, and a crispy, juicy sauce cutlet with a sweet and spicy special sauce.

Popular at product fairs nationwide, it is a hearty dish consisting of crispy cabbage, a cutlet dipped in sweet and spicy original sauce, and a fluffy egg sandwiched between buns! The red beko on the wrapping paper is also popular♪

New sweets using "awa" (millet)!

The "awa" (foam) is a characteristic of this dish!
Another new sweet treat that is unique to Yanaizu Town is the "Kaiun Awasoft Cream" made with awa (millet)! The special flavor of soft-serve ice cream is slightly creamy and rich, and topped with roasted awa (millet)! It is a sweet, crunchy, and savory sweet available only in Yanaizu.
