Yaesu Ishikawa Terrace is open♪

What comes to mind when you hear the word "Ishikawa"?
Sightseeing spots such as the Kakumon gate welcoming you at JR Kanazawa Station and the Wakura hot springs on the Noto Peninsula, a hot spring on the sea, Kaga stick tea and local sake that are well known throughout Japan, food culture including fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan, and traditional crafts that are the work of artisans. The number of things that come to mind is probably too numerous to even fit in two hands.
A new antenna store has opened just a 4-minute walk from Tokyo Station Yaesu, where visitors can feel close to the charms of Ishikawa Prefecture!

What is Yaesu Ishikawa Terrace?

This is an antenna store where you can experience the traditional culture, rich food ingredients, and food culture that have been handed down in Ishikawa Prefecture, as well as the cultural diversity rooted in the Kanazawa, Kaga, and Noto regions, together with the hospitality and thoughtfulness that is uniquely Ishikawa.

Designed based on the concept of hospitality for visitors, materials from Ishikawa Prefecture are used everywhere in the store, warmly welcoming visitors!
The ceiling, which catches the eye in this photo, is made of cedar from Ishikawa Prefecture and has a Japanese umbrella motif.
Open and bright store interior
The open-air store is on one floor and offers a wide variety of souvenirs and traditional crafts.
Of course, there is also a wide selection of local sake, with bottles of sake lined up on the right side of the cash register, a sight that is sure to please any sake lover!

The store also has an "information area" where you can learn about the charms of Ishikawa Prefecture and an "eating area" where you can enjoy sweets, Kaga-bocha tea, local sake and snacks.
