The Cheesecake Factory/Cafe Kazabana & Mori no Kobo, which opened as a forest factory and will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2023, is located in Adatara Kogen, near Gakuonsen Onsen in Nihonmatsu City. Cafe Kazehana is proud of its cheesecake, which is made with the owner's special care. On the same premises, Morinokoubo sells a variety of goods and crafts, as well as local specialties. The lovely handmade garden that leads from Morino Kobo to the café makes you feel as if you have wandered into a picture book.

Cheesecake

The owner, who used to hate cheesecake, went through a process of trial and error until he was satisfied with his No. 1 popular cheesecake, which is very rich and smooth to the touch. In addition to "Fuka no Cheesecake," there are always 8 to 10 kinds of cheesecakes available, including "Basque Cheesecake" and "Cheese Souffle.

The pasta with a sticky texture is made from fresh pasta (linguine). The tomato sauce-based "Caponata" is full of vegetable flavor. Neapolitan-style pizza, baked in an oven to order, is also popular! The limited winter menu for 2025/2026, which everyone has been waiting for, has started this year as well♪ Every menu is full of winter colors and is very attractive!

Fukushima's typical "snow rabbit" parfait♪

The winter of Fukushima is associated with Agatsuma Kofuji's snow bunnies. This cute-looking pure white parfait is made with whipped cream that looks like snow and rabbit rare cheese mousse on top. This luxurious winter-only parfait is layered with refreshing apple jelly, rich cheese cream, granola, vanilla ice cream, milk muffins, raspberries, and marshmallows.

Winter-only hot drinks

Here are some of the recommended winter-only menu items.
First, let's start with the "Fairy Yuzu Apple" with gold dust. This sparkling drink looks as if fairies have danced in the air. The refreshing aroma of yuzu and the gentle sweetness of apples blend together in this drink. The slight bitterness of the yuzu accentuates the refreshing aftertaste.

Then there is the "Witch's Buttermilk," which warms the body. Spices of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg are melted in sweet milk, and then butter snow is floated on top to create a mellow taste as if a witch had cast a spell.

By public transportation, take the bus bound for Takeonsen from Nihonmatsu Station on the JR Tohoku Main Line, get off at Takeonsen, and walk about 30 minutes. Please stop by when you visit Takeonsen.
