Nanohana, heralding the arrival of spring

Cherry blossoms and tulips in spectacular competition

From late March to mid-April, Showa Kinen Park is decorated with sakura (cherry blossoms), which are a springtime favorite. About 350 Someiyoshino cherry trees and other cherry trees bloom in the Cherry Blossom Garden and the Old Cherry Blossom Garden. You can also enjoy the graceful spring pinks dancing in the air. In the Cherry Blossom Garden, 50,000 Murasaki Hananas can also be enjoyed together. In addition, about 1,500 cherry trees of 31 varieties are planted in the park, offering a variety of cherry blossoms.

Blue and red carpet of nemophila and chalet poppies

The most popular flower of the second half of the festival is the "Nemophila," which turns the entire field of flowers a bright blue color! A blue carpet of 200,000 flowers will be spread over the field west of the field. On a clear day, the collaboration of blue sky and nemophila blue creates a fantastic view! You are sure to feel refreshed!
