The Hokuriku Shinkansen Line will extend to Tsuruga Station!

On March 16, 2024, the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line will open between Kanazawa and Tsuruga.
Currently, the line connects Tokyo Station to Kanazawa Station in Ishikawa Prefecture, but the Shinkansen will finally connect the three Hokuriku prefectures (Toyama, Ishikawa, and Fukui). JR Kurobe Unazuki Onsen Station

JR Kurobe Unazuki Onsen Station is a stop on the Hokuriku Shinkansen line located in Kurobe City, Toyama Prefecture.
Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen "Hakutaka" from Tokyo Station to JR Kurobe Unazuki Onsen Station in as little as 2 hours and 20 minutes. Please note that the Hokuriku Shinkansen "Kagayaki" does not stop at JR Kurobe Unazuki Onsen Station.

The gateway to the Kurobe-Unazuki area's representative tourist attractions

The station is the gateway to the Kurobe-Unazuki area, which includes Unazuki Onsen and the Kurobe Gorge Railway's trolley car. From Shin-Kurobe Station, a 30-minute train ride will take you to Unazuki Onsen Station.

Walking out from the west exit of Toyama Chiho Railway's Unazuki Onsen Station, you will see the onsen fountain that symbolizes the onsen town. Steam rises from the fountain, welcoming tourists with a warm atmosphere.

Walking out of Unazuki Onsen Station and down the hot spring street, you will find ryokan and onsen facilities as well as cafes and souvenir shops in the Showa-era retro atmosphere of the town. In addition, a trolley car stops here, and there are objets d'art featuring the trolley car on the street lamps, giving you a sense of the scenery and ingenuity unique to Unazuki Onsen town. And even after strolling and walking a lot, you can soak in a footbath and relax, which is the beauty of hot springs. 1) Footbath "KURONAGI" at the station

As the name suggests, the station footbath "Kuro-nagi" is located on the platform of Unazuki Onsen Station. You can use it while waiting for the train or just relax while watching the train. The entrance is not only for users of Unazuki Onsen Station, but also from the street side, so it can be used from outside, and anyone can enjoy the footbath.

(2) Footbath "Omokage

Omokage Footbath is located adjacent to Unazuki Park and is about a 5-minute walk from Unazuki Onsen Station. The water temperature is about 40 degrees Celsius. (3) So-yu "Yumetoko Unazuki

So-yu "Yumetoko Unazuki" is a one-day bathing facility. The hot water of Unazuki Onsen is famous as "Bijin-no-yu" (hot water of beauty), which is gentle and smooth on the skin, so be sure to stop by. There are also two free footbaths and a hot spring bath, and a tourist information center is located in the free space on the first floor.
