Morioka Small Museum is a small museum in Morioka City. Morioka City has designated some of the city's most prominent workshops and stores as "Morioka Small Museums" to encourage visitors to take a deeper interest in the city's local specialties and local products. Tourists are expected to enjoy their trip more by visiting the Morioka Small Museum and experiencing the culture of Morioka City.
Yamazen displays panels showing the process of making crafted confections, and the store also displays seasonal Japanese confections such as flowers and trees. The "Morioka Emaki," which is also considered a specialty, has been enjoyed by the Emperor and Empress of Japan. Visitors can enjoy the charm of wagashi not only in taste but also in appearance.
