New sightseeing train "Hinabi (Yangtravel)" debuts!

The new sightseeing train "Hinabi (Yangtravel)" will debut on December 23, 2023.

The train will operate on various lines in Iwate and Aomori prefectures using converted "Resort Asunaro," a two-car diesel hybrid train.

Introducing the "Hinabi (Yangtravel)" train!

The "Hinabi (Yangtravel)" is a two-car train.
The exterior design embodies a train that connects "region" to "region" and "people" to "people" by using a red line on a white background as a "string" and a "plum knot," which is the knot of a mizuhiki, at the front of the train. Also, the pattern of mountains, waves, rivers, and snowflakes represents the rich nature of mountains, villages, and the sea in the northern Tohoku region.
