In addition to the Korekawa Ruins, many other ruins have been discovered in the city, making it a perfect place to learn about the history of various periods.
There are also many fashionable stores, and there are still many undiscovered places to recommend!
This time we will introduce two of them♪
Rice-related specialty stores! KOMEKUUTO Hachinohe Store

Here, in addition to milling, weighing, and selling rice and miscellaneous goods, you can enjoy a special menu using rice at the attached café!
The name KOMEKUUTO comes from...
When you eat rice, you will naturally feel energized, and when you eat rice, you will smile.
The concept of "everything starts with rice" is the origin of the restaurant's name.
This is a place where rice lovers can enjoy rice to the fullest.

The store is full of rice-related products!

Many of the products are new to me, and I lose track of time as I browse from one item to the next.
Have lunch at the café attached to the store.

The concept of the café is "Everyday Tea and Rice.
The warm lighting creates a very peaceful atmosphere, and it is a wonderful space that caters to customers.

The fatty codfish is deep-fried and stir-fried with seasonal ingredients such as lotus root, burdock root, and sweet potato.
You can choose from white rice or brown rice with cereals, and one refill is free!
The miso soup can also be changed to a seasonal miso soup with a variety of ingredients. (*An additional 160 yen will be charged.)
The generous portions are very satisfying and filled my stomach.

During our interview, we also received a single item on the menu.
It is a small size (80g) cereal brown rice rice ball with salted mackerel.
The favorite topping, egg yolk marinated in shoyu, is inside the rice ball♪ (*Additional charge of 70 yen including tax will be added).
In addition, three pieces of fried chicken were also served together!
This fried chicken is juicy and healthy because of the rice bran in the batter♪
There are also many different types of ingredients for the onigiri, making it hard to choose the right one for you!
Moreover, some menu items can be taken out!
There are also a wide variety of drinks and sweets for you to enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere.

After lunch, visit the pastry store 【PATISSERIE YASUHIRO】.

Owner patissier Yasuhiro Tsumagari opened the store in 2015 after five years of training in the 16th arrondissement of French pastry and more than 10 years working at his family's "Cake House Tsumagari" in Hyogo Prefecture.

The store is filled with heart-stirring baked goods and cakes!
I should have been full, but I was still hungry for something sweet.
The cookies are very popular! The reason why...

There are two reasons why customers continue to love these cookies!
1) Special fermented butter used only in a few confectionary specialty stores in Japan
2) "Real" organic sugar that uses no chemical fertilizers or pesticides
It is crispy but also has a mellow buttery flavor that makes your mouth water!
The wrapping paper of the baked sweets has a secret!

You can feel the passion for Hachinohe even in the smallest details.
It is sure to be a gift that will please you!
You can also choose from a variety of other cute wrapping paper to suit your purpose.
It's not just cookies! Our commitment is not only to cookies, but also to cakes!

We have a wide variety of cakes, from seasonal cakes using seasonal Aomori fruits that make the most of the local goodness to standard cakes.
The "Nejo Roll," which has the name of a place in Hachinohe in its name, is one of the standard cakes.
It is made with eggs from pure domestic chickens (momiji), organic sugar, and Acacia honey from Goto beekeeper Nomura, and filled with a blend of four kinds of whipped cream.
It is a roll cake with a simple yet profound flavor.
In this season, we also recommend the apple pie.
The crispy pie is filled with fermented butter and filled with Fuji and Benidama fruit.
It is a limited product for fall and winter, so don't delay! (*Rough sales period: mid-November~late January)
We also offer birthday cakes, puddings, duck worts, etc. by reservation only.
During the winter season, we also offer the popular annual apple pie and Stollen in limited quantities!
Some of these items are available in our online store, please check the link below.
